Guest Operating System Network Shares Are Not Available on the Network (825351)

- Microsoft Virtual PC for Mac version 6.1
- Connectix Virtual PC for Mac version 6.0
SYMPTOMSIf you share a folder from the guest operating
system to your network, the folder may not be available to other computers on the
network.CAUSEThis problem occurs because your virtual machine uses Shared
Networking and not Virtual Switch networking to connect to the
network.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, you must configure your virtual
machine to use Virtual Switch networking to connect to your network.
