SYMPTOMSAfter you install a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 service pack on
a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0-based guest PC, you may experience the following
symptoms:
- Drag-and-drop functionality does not work correctly
between a host PC and a guest PC.
- Folder sharing does not work correctly between a host PC
and a guest PC.
CAUSEThis behavior occurs because the Windows NT 4.0 service pack
contains updates that overwrite files that the Virtual PC
Additions install. As a result, certain features that Virtual PC Additions provide,
such as drag-and-drop functionality and folder sharing, do not work correctly
after you install a Windows NT 4.0 service pack on the guest PC. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, reinstall Virtual PC Additions on
your guest PC.
