To use a Connectix OS Pack to create a guest PC, follow these steps:
  1. On the host PC, click Start, point to Programs, and then click Connectix Virtual PC.
  2. In the Virtual PC window, click New PC to open the PC Setup Wizard.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Type a name in the New PC Name box, and then click Next.
  5. Under Configuration Options, click Guide me, and then click Next.
  6. Under Guest Operating System, in the Which Operating System do you intend to run on this PC? list, click to select the operating system that you want to install on the disk image.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Under Memory Settings, click No to keep the recommended memory settings, and then click Next.
  9. Under Boot Disk Options, click Select an existing hard disk image, and then click Next.
  10. Use either of the following methods to specify the location of the disk image:
    • Under Boot Disk Location, click Browse to specify the location of the Connectix disk image that is installed on the host PC, and then click Open.
    • Type the full path in the Disk image location box.
  11. If you want to be prompted to undo the changes that you make during a session in the guest PC, click to select the Enable undo support check box.

    Note If the Enable undo support check box is cleared, all the changes that you make during a session are saved automatically.
  12. Click Next, and then click Finish to create the guest PC.
