You Cannot Use the Mouse Pointer in DOS Mode or in Full-Screen Mode (824621)

SYMPTOMS

When you are in DOS mode or full-screen mode, you cannot use the Macintosh mouse pointer.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, press and hold down the COMMAND (Apple) key. You can now use the Macintosh mouse pointer and menus.
