SYMPTOMS

When you set up a Microsoft Windows Server 2003-based server cluster, your server may stop responding, and you may receive a Stop error message that is similar to the following:
STOP 0x000000B8 ATTEMPTED_SWITCH_FROM_DPC

RESOLUTION

Hotfix Information

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article.
