Issues That Are Fixed in the Hotfix Package
The following issues are fixed in this hotfix package.
819954 WD2002: Browsing between Word document and Web pages causes Word to stop responding
293005 OL2002: Outlook attachments appear in Most Recently Used list
823476 Not able to save changes to a network shared Word document
The following issue is also fixed in this hotfix package but was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article.
- Long Comments May Be Truncated or May Not Be Shown Completely in the ScreenTip
When you pause your mouse pointer over a comment in a Microsoft Word document, one of the following problems may occur:- A portion of the comment may appear in the comment ScreenTip.
- The comment may not appear in the comment ScreenTip.
This update was first included in Office XP Service Pack 3.

- The full-file version of this hotfix is also the administrative version of this hotfix. You can install this version of the hotfix with Office XP Service Pack 1 (SP-1). However, Microsoft has not tested this fix on Office XP SP-1 to the same extent as on Office XP Service Pack 2 (SP-2). If you install this hotfix on a computer with Office XP SP-1 installed, some file conflicts might occur. Microsoft supports this configuration, but Microsoft does not recommend this configuration.
