You cannot restore or re-create a deleted action control on the Default.aspx page of a SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Web site (823283)

SYMPTOMSWhen you delete the actions control on the Default.aspx page of a SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Web site, you cannot restore or re-create the control.WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, follow these steps: - Open your SharePoint Portal Server Web site in Microsoft FrontPage 2003.
- Open the Default.aspx page in the Front Page Editor.
- In design view, put the pointer where you want the actions control to go.
- Switch to code view.
The pointer is in the same location as it was for design view. - Paste the actions control code into code view. The actions control code is as follows:
