The Contact form has a different layout when you change to design mode in Outlook 2003 (823133)


The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Office Outlook 2003

SYMPTOMS

When you use the design mode to design a custom Contact form, the design form that appears has a different layout than the default Contact form. Additionally, the Add Contact Picture option does not appear in the design mode Contact form as expected.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because the design mode Contact form was not updated with the new Outlook 2003 user interface.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Outlook 2003.

MORE INFORMATION

This problem only occurs when you design a custom Contact form. This problem does not occur when you design other form types.
