Event ID 14193 When You Configure the Percentage of Free Memory to Use for Caching (823075)

SYMPTOMSWhen you configure the Percentage of free memory to use for caching option on the Advanced tab of the Cache Configuration Properties dialog box, the following event appears in the application log of Event Viewer:Source: Microsoft Web Proxy Category: None Event ID: 14193 Date: date Time: time User: N/A Computer: servername Description: The Cache was initialized with less memory than configured. This is because there is not enough free memory available for ISA Server caching.
CAUSEThis issue occurs if both of the following conditions are true: - You have 4 gigabytes (GB) or more of random access memory (RAM) installed in the computer.
-and- - You configure a percentage of free memory to use for caching that corresponds to more than 2 GB of RAM.
When you try to allocate more than 2 GB of memory, this operation is unsuccessful because the amount of memory is greater than the maximum User mode memory size of 2 GB.
