Cannot Populate List of Process Templates (823059)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to open the BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 2.0 Administration console, you may receive the following error message:
Unable to populate the list of process templates

When you click OK, the Administration console opens, but the Process Templates node is empty. If you click the Relations node, you may receive the following error message:
Unable to populate the list of relations.

RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem.

The P1 version of this fix has the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.

Note Because of file dependencies, the most recent hotfix or feature that contains these files may also contain additional files.

WORKAROUND

This behavior occurs because the user account that is being used to open the Administration console is not a local administrator on the server. To work around this issue, make the user a member of the local Administrators group.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
