To find messages in queues, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Exchange, and then click System Manager.
2. Expand Servers, expand the server that you want to work with, and then click Queues.
   
   Note If you have administrative groups defined, expand Administrative Groups, expand Administrative Group Name, expand Servers, expand the server that you want to work with, and then click Queues.
3. In the right pane, right-click the queue that you want to find messages in, and then click Find Messages.
4. In the Find Messages dialog box, use the following options to customize your message results search:
   1. Under Address Restrictions, you can limit the search to messages that were sent by a specific sender. Click Sender, and then type the sender's name or use the search criteria.
   2. Under Address Restrictions, you can limit the search to messages that were received by a specific recipient. Click Recipient, and then type the recipient's name or use the search criteria.
   3. Under Message Restrictions, you can select the Number of messages to be listed in the search. Click the drop-down arrow to select the number of search results. You can select from 100 (the default setting), 500, 1,000 or 10,000.
   4. Under Message Restrictions, you can select Show messages whose state is, and then specify what state the messages must be in to be included in the search. Click the drop-down arrow to select the message state. You can select from All Messages (the default setting), Frozen, or Retry.
5. Click Find Now. The search results appear under Search Results.
6. To start a new search, click New Search. This resets the Find Messages dialog box to its default settings.
