SYMPTOMSWhen you try to use the Microsoft Windows XP Fax Service to send a fax to a contact in the Windows Address Book, you may receive the following error: Some recipients were discarded because their addresses don't appear to be fax numbers. (IDS_BAD_ADDRESS_TYPE) CAUSEThis problem occurs when you try to send a fax to a contact and to a group containing the contact at the same time. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Windows XP.
