Windows XP Does Not Support the ISO Latin-13 Code Page (821977)


The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

When you try to read an e-mail message that uses ISO Latin-13 encoding in either Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Outlook Express, you cannot read the e-mail.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because Windows XP does not support the ISO Latin-13 code page.

RESOLUTION

This feature is available in the latest service pack for Windows XP. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

The English version of this fix has the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
