Session Summary

July 9, 2003

Although Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 is similar to SMS 2.0, it has a number of new features and updates. These updates make troubleshooting SMS issues a new experience for SMS administrators and systems engineers. This session will focus on common issues that may occur with SMS 2003, including the tools that can be used to diagnose the problems.

This is a Level 200 session that will be presented by Wally Mead. Wally Mead has been with Microsoft for 10 years. He started in the training organization, where he delivered LAN Manager training. Wally began working with SMS in 1994, and has been involved in the development and delivery of all SMS training courses for Microsoft. He now works as a Program Manager in the SMS product group, and provides training for both internal and external audiences.
