HTTP Indexing Service Object Is Not Listed in the Performance Monitor Counters (821892)

SYMPTOMSIn Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4), when you view the Performance object list in the Add Counters dialog box of the Performance utility, the HTTP Indexing Service object does not appear. CAUSEIn Windows 2000 SP4, the HTTP Indexing Service object is not listed unless you issue an Internet Data Query (IDQ) query. WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, run an IDQ query.
