The Tasks folder is repeatedly duplicated when you view the mailbox folder of another user in Outlook 2002 (821804)
The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIf you add an additional mailbox to view in your Outlook
2002 folder list, when you click the Calendar folder of the additional user,
two new task folders may be created.CAUSEThis problem may occur if the mailbox owner who you added
has completed all the following:
- Has given you Publishing Author permissions in their
Outlook Today folder.
- Has given you Review permissions or Author permissions in
their Calendar folder.
- Has given you Review permissions or Author permissions or
Folder visible permission in their Inbox folder.
- Has not given you permissions to their Tasks folder.
RESOLUTIONService Pack InformationThis problem is corrected in Office XP Service Pack 3. To resolve this
problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office XP. For additional
