Session Summary
August 12, 2003This Support WebCast session will present an
introduction to Automated Deployment Services (ADS) in Microsoft Windows Server
2003. Topics will include an ADS services overview, a discussion of how to
capture and deploy images, and information about basic ADS configuration.
This is a
Level
200 session that will be presented by Bo Downey and Michael
Anderson.
Bo Downey has worked for Microsoft since 1994, when he began working
as a support professional for Windows NT 3.5. Bo stayed in that role until 1997
when he was assigned to work on the Windows 2000 beta project. He is currently
employed as an Alliance Engineer for the Premier East district where he
performs dedicated platforms support for large enterprise customers. Since
March of this year, Bo has been involved with the ADS beta team. Michael
Anderson has been with Microsoft since 1999 as a support professional, working with
Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003.
Michael
currently works on the PSS Setup team, and he recently has had the opportunity
to expand his knowledge of deployment technologies by working with the Windows
Server 2003 ADS beta project, since November 2002.
