CAUSE
This problem may occur if all the following conditions are
true:
- One or more Microsoft Visio files are included in the workspace
or are crawled (to search content to include it in an index) as a content source.
- The Visio file or files contain custom properties.
- The custom properties are added or modified by using
Windows Explorer before the file or files are added to the SharePoint Portal
Server workspace, or before the content in the workspace is crawled to create
an index.
In this situation, SharePoint Portal Server does not index the
file correctly. This issue may occur on servers that have more than one
CPU.
RESOLUTION
This problem was first fixed in a hotfix that is now contained in a service pack. If you have installed SharePoint Portal Server 2001 Service Pack 3 or a later service pack, you do not have to apply the hotfix.
