Virus real-time monitoring causes some files not to be replicated when deploying approximately 100 10-MB files (821119)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Application Center 2000
- Microsoft Application Center 2000 SP1
- Microsoft Application Center 2000 SP2
SYMPTOMSWhen you deploy many files (for example, about 100 files) with Application Center 2000, and if you are using antivirus software to monitor files on the server, some of the files that you are deploying may not be replicated.
You may see the following event in the Application logs:Event ID: 5056 Source: Application Center Description: The requested object %Path% is busy during session %ReplicationID% and job %ReplicationID% Status is 0x80070020. The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. RESOLUTIONTo prevent this problem from recurring, exclude the $ACSRPL$ directory from automatic virus scanning. A full or automatic synchronization will replicate any missing files.STATUS
