SYMPTOMS You are prompted to supply your logon credentials when you
try to view your e-mail messages even though you logged on to the domain that
is hosting your e-mail server when you started Microsoft Windows XP if the
following two conditions are true:
- If you use more than one profile to access different e-mail
accounts with Microsoft Office Outlook 2003.
- You use your default profile to access your e-mail
account.
CAUSEThis problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
- You use Outlook 2003 on the original retail version of
Microsoft Windows XP.
- You used a profile other than your default profile to
access a different user account's e-mail.
Windows XP stores the information from the other profile and
replaces your original account logon credentials with the logon credentials
from the other profile. When you try to use your default profile to access your
primary e-mail account, you are prompted to provide your logon credentials
again. RESOLUTION To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service
