You cannot save print settings between OneNote sessions in OneNote 2003 (820711)

SYMPTOMS

When you make changes to the Print Preview settings for one OneNote 2003 section or page, some of the Print Preview settings for other OneNote 2003 sections and pages also change. When you close OneNote 2003, none of the changes to the Print Preview settings are saved.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.

During a OneNote 2003 session, changes to the following Print Preview settings are not saved between sections and pages:
  • Range
  • Size
  • Orientation
During a OneNote 2003 session, changes to the following Print Preview settings are saved between sections and pages:
  • Print Title on Separate Page
  • Scale
  • Footer
  • Start Page Numbering at 1
When you close OneNote 2003, no changes to the Print Preview settings are saved.
