SYMPTOMS

When you use Microsoft Outlook 2002 to connect to a Microsoft Exchange server, you may receive an error message that is similar to one of the following:
Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close... AppName = Outlook.EXE. AppVer = 10.0.2627.1. ModName = Rpcrt4.dll. ModVer = 5.1.2600.1106. Offset = 0000e573.
Invalid Page Fault in module Rpcrt4.dll

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you have antivirus or firewall software that is installed and running on your computer.

RESOLUTION
