SYMPTOMS

The Site Replication Service does not process replication messages and the following warning may be logged in the application log: Event Type: Warning
Event Source: MSExchangeSRS
Event Category: Replication
Event ID: 1091
Description:
The directory replication agent (DRA) attempted to open mail with name /o=Organization/ou=Site/cn=Configuration/cn=Servers/cn=Server/cn=Microsoft DSA:UserName but received error 2152006410. Messages could not be sent. Make sure that the mail service on this Microsoft Exchange Server computer is running.

CAUSE

The Site Replication Service does not process replication messages. This problem occurs because the Site Replication Service keeps receiving a shutdown error when it tries to access its mailbox.

Note Error 2152006410 translates to MAPIDRA_E_DISCONNECTING.
