The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Application Center 2000
- Microsoft Application Center 2000 SP1
- Microsoft Application Center 2000 SP2
SYMPTOMSYou may see the following error in the event log of a
member server in an Application Center 2000 cluster when an automatic
virus scanner is enabled: Event ID: 5056 Source: Application Center Description: The requested object <file path>
is busy during session <session ID> and job
<JobID>. Status is 0x80070020 The process cannot
access the file because it is being used by another
process.CAUSEAutomatic virus scanners may detect that a
replicated file has been created in the $ACSREPL$\ directories and may briefly block access to
the file. This can cause Application Center 2000 replication to be unsuccessful.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, disable automatic virus scanning on $ACSREPL$ and all its
subdirectories.
