SUMMARY
An update is available that adds an additional icon for the
Set Program Access and Defaults feature to the Start menu. The
icon appears on the right panel of the Start menu, below the
Control
Panel icon. The update also adds a
Help button to the
Set Program Access and Defaults dialog box, and it adds Help
content for this feature.
If you are a member of the Administrators
group, you can use the
Set Program Access and Defaults feature
to specify the default program for certain activities, such as Web browsing,
sending e-mail messages, or playing media files. You can also control how the
program's icons, shortcuts, and menu entries appear.
