Web Form Views Do Not Render Correctly and Appear Blank After You Upgrade to Exchange Server 2003 (820279)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Enterprise Edition
- Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Standard Edition
SYMPTOMSWhen you upgrade to Exchange Server 2003 from a previous version of Exchange, programs that use Web forms that reference the Wfview.htc view control do not work correctly. Web form views do not render correctly and may appear blank. CAUSEThis behavior occurs because the Wfview.htc view control is located in a different folder than it was in previous versions of Exchange. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this behavior, update any Web forms that access the view control so that they point to the correct location of Wfview.htc. In Exchange Server 2003, Wfview.htc is located in the following folder: \Exchsrvr\Exchweb\Controls MORE INFORMATIONExchange Web forms support Exchange store views. As part of Microsoft's efforts to improve the security of Exchange, the location of view behaviors and related files has changed. When you upgrade to Exchange Server 2003, you must update any Web forms that reference the Wfview.htc view control to point to the new location of Wfview.htc.
