The Delete Option Appears When You Right-Click a Deleted Mailbox in the Mailbox Recovery Center (820271)

SYMPTOMS

After you delete a user's mailbox, when you right-click the deleted mailbox in Mailbox Recovery Center in Exchange System Manager, the Delete option is available on the shortcut menu that appears.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the intended use for the Delete option is to remove the deleted mailbox from view in the right pane of the Mailbox Recovery Center.

MORE INFORMATION

When you right-click a deleted mailbox in Mailbox Recovery Center and then click Delete, nothing is deleted. The mailbox is only removed from view. For additional information about Mailbox Recovery Center, search for Mailbox Recovery Center in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Help.
