SYMPTOMS

When you try to send an encrypted e-mail message in Outlook 2002, you receive the following error message
Microsoft Outlook had problems encrypting this message because the following recipients had missing or invalid certificates, or conflicting or unsupported encryption capabilities: e-mail recipient
where e-mail recipient represents a recipient that you are sending an e-mail message to.

CAUSE

This problem may occur when you try to send an encrypted e-mail message to 200 or more recipients.

Note You can send an encrypted e-mail message to the first 199 individual recipients without receiving the error message that is mentioned in the "Symptoms" section.

RESOLUTION

Service Pack Information
