SUMMARY

Works for Windows maintains a list of the four most recently used files at the bottom of the File menu. You can open these files directly from the File menu by choosing the filenames as you would choose any other menu item.

MORE INFORMATION

This list of files is an internally stored list of text strings. Consequently, the filename for a file that has been deleted can still appear in this list. If you try to open a deleted file appearing on the list, Works generates the following error message:
Cannot find file or file already open
