Da Vinci eMAIL may GP Fault When Attaching a Shared Worksheet (82653)

SUMMARY

Da Vinci eMAIL may cause a general protection (GP) fault in USER.EXE at 0019:0978 when you try to attach an Excel spreadsheet file (.XLS) that is already held open by Excel.

Note: Under Windows 3.0, you will receive an Unrecoverable Application Error (UAE).

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem you can close the spreadsheet and try to attach it again, or contact Da Vinci Systems Corporation for an update.
