OL: You Can Only Publish Three Months of Free/Busy Events As a Delegate (819973)


The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Outlook 98
  • Microsoft Outlook 2000
  • Microsoft Outlook 2002

SYMPTOMS

If you accept a meeting request and publish Free/Busy event information as a delegate to another e-mail account, and the following two conditions are true
  • You are using Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2002.

    -and-
  • The delegate e-mail account is using Outlook 98.
the delegate e-mail account only displays three months of Free/Busy events. This problem occurs regardless of the settings for the publishing time range in the delegate e-mail account or your e-mail account

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, use the same version of Microsoft Outlook for both the delegate e-mail account and your e-mail account.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
