E-Mail Messages with Attachments That Are Sent in MIME Format Are Not Received (819958)

SYMPTOMS

When you send a message that has attachments to a Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) recipient who uses Microsoft Outlook 2001 for Macintosh, a Symantec Antivirus for SMTP Gateways that receives this message might not deliver it. This problem occurs when Exchange Server 5.5 Internet Mail Service sends a MIME message with boundaries that are not unique.

RESOLUTION
