SUMMARYIf you run the acsreset /acs command at a command prompt, you receive the following
message:Attempting stop... Internet services
successfully stopped Attempting start... Internet services successfully
restarted If you run the acsreset /acs /stop command at a command prompt, you receive the following
message:Attempting stop... Internet services
successfully stoppedAlthough you receive one of these messages, the
World Wide Web Publishing Service is still started.STATUS This
behavior is by design.MORE INFORMATIONThe acsreset /acs command only affects Application Center processes. The messages
are not correct because the Application Center services are successfully
stopped or stopped and restarted, not the Internet services. If you run acsreset without the /acs parameter, the messages are correct, and the Internet services
are stopped or stopped and restarted.
