OL2002: Outlook Quits When You Export a KMS Issued Certification Authority Certificate (819854)

SYMPTOMSWhen you export a certification authority (CA) certificate from Outlook 2002 that was issued by a Key Management server (KMS), Outlook may quit unexpectedly and you may receive the following error message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error! CAUSEThis problem may occur if you have a CA certificate with a key size of 512, you renew the certificate (without generating a new key pair), and then you receive a new CA certificate with a key size of 1024.RESOLUTIONHow to Obtain the HotfixThis issue is fixed in the Outlook 2002 Post-Service Pack 2 Hotfix Package June 17 , 2003.
