SYMPTOMSWhen you listen to an audio file or media stream, the Swirl setting of the Ambience visualization
may "freeze" (that is, stop moving) in full mode and stay that way even after you come out of full mode. RESOLUTIONTo work around this problem, do not use the Swirl setting of the Ambience
visualization in full mode. To recover visualizations, click away from the Now Playing tab. That is, click one of the other tabs (for example, Media Library, Media Guide, or another tab), or click another visualization (for example, Album Art) to force the Ambience visualization to reload. To view and change the Swirl setting, follow these steps: - On the View menu, point to Visualizations.
- Point to Ambience, and then notice that the Swirl option is selected. Do not click the Swirl option.
- Click any Ambience option except Swirl.
- or -
Click any other visualization option.
STATUS Microsoft
has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed
at the beginning of this article.
