Cannot Use Drag-and-Drop Feature to Put Items in a Placeholder When Using SSL (819527)

SYMPTOMS

You cannot use the drag-and-drop feature to put items in a placeholder when Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is enabled.
When you drag an item to a placeholder, a request is made of the CMS server. Then, the item is placed in the CMS database. Finally, a response is returned from the client. In this case, although a response exists, the contents do not appear in the placeholder.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. Note Because of file dependencies, this update requires Content Management Server 2001 Service Pack 1 if you are using CMS 2001.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this Is a problem In the Microsoft products that are listed In the "Applies To" section. This problem was corrected in Content Management Server 2002 Service Pack 1.
Note Make sure that you follow the Readme.txt instructions on the hotfix package to install the fix.
