Text Appears as Indecipherable Characters When You Try to Print from Picture It! Publishing 2002 (819522)

SYMPTOMSWhen you try to print a Picture It! Publishing 2002 document
on a Microsoft Windows XP-based computer, you may see that the text of the
printed document does not appear as you expect. The text may appear as
indecipherable characters.
Note This issue most frequently occurs on Lexmark Z82
printers.CAUSEThis issue may occur if your printer driver is not
compatible with Picture It! Publishing 2002 when it is installed on a Windows
XP-based computer.RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, change the print processor to
WinPrint processor. To do so, follow these steps. Note In the following steps, Printer is the
name of the printer that you want to use to print the Picture It! Publishing
2002 document.
- Click Start, and then click
Printers and Faxes.
- Right-click the printer that you want to use, and then
click Properties.
- In the Printer
Properties dialog box, click the Advanced tab, and
then click Print Processor.
- In the Print Processor dialog box, click
WinPrint, and then click OK.
- Click OK to close each of the
Printer Properties dialog
boxes.
- Print the Picture It! Publishing 2002 document.
