How to tell the difference between field names in an Outlook 2003 contact list and in a Word 2003 mail merge (818851)

There are some fields in All Contact Fields in Microsoft Outlook that have different names in a Word mail merge. Most fields have the same name in both Outlook and Word, but some fields that are in Outlook are not available in Microsoft Word. For example, there are not any user-defined Outlook fields available in Word.

The following are the Word merge fields with their corresponding Outlook Contact fields, as they appear in the Word Insert Merge Field or Match Fields dialog boxes.
