"Need-Full-Object" Error Is Returned When You Perform a File-Based Delta Import (818559)

SYMPTOMSWhen you run a management agent to perform a delta import operation (an operation to import only those objects and attributes whose values have changed since the last time the management agent was run), one or more of the following errors may be returned: need-full-object CAUSEThis behavior occurs if both of the following conditions are true: - The delta import operation runs from a file-based management agent.
- The delta import operation moves or renames objects from a container that is excluded by the container filter to a container that is included by the container filter.
This error indicates that the management agent has submitted a modification on an object that cannot be located in the connector space. In this scenario, the synchronization engine requests the current values for all attributes of the object, but because this is a file-based import operation, the information is not available. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, run a management agent to perform a full import operation of the object.
