English Grammar feature does not work and Smart Tags are missing after you upgrade to Office 2003 from Office XP (818243)

SYMPTOMSWhen you upgrade Microsoft Office XP to Office 2003 on a
Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer, or on a Windows XP-based computer, when
you try to use the English Grammar feature, English Grammar does not work.
Also, Smart Tags are missing from your Office programs.CAUSEThis problem may occur if you have not installed Windows
2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4) or Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1).RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, download and install either Windows
2000 SP4 or Windows XP SP1. To install and download these service packs and any
updates that you want, visit the following Microsoft Web site: WORKAROUNDIf you cannot install one of these service packs, follow
these steps to work around the problem:
- Click Start, point to All
Programs, and then click Microsoft Word.
- Click Tools, and then click
Spelling and Grammar.
This triggers an Install
On-Demand of the files that are required for the English Grammar feature to
function correctly.
