The Task Pane key on an Office Keyboard does not always operate as expected in Office 2003 programs (818233)

SYMPTOMSWhen you press the Task Pane key on a Microsoft Office
Keyboard, the task pane does not close or open as expected. This issue may
occur in the following products:
- Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003
- Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003
- Microsoft Office OneNote 2003
- Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003
- Microsoft Office Outlook 2003
- Microsoft Office Picture Manager 2003
WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, click the Close
button in the upper-right corner of the task pane to close the task pane in any
Office program.
To open the task pane in any Office program, on the
View menu, click Task Pane.STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are
listed at the beginning of this article.
