The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Office OneNote 2003
  • Microsoft Office OneNote 2003, Service Pack 1 (SP1)

SYMPTOMS

When you click Print on the File menu in Microsoft Office OneNote 2003, some print range options may not be available (they appear dimmed). A particular print range option may not be selected by default as expected.

MORE INFORMATION

The available print range options in the Print dialog box are determined by the condition of the document that you are currently working on in OneNote. The following is a list of those print range options.

Note Although some options are selected by default in the Print dialog box, you can select a different print range option when it is available.

  • All: When you select this option, the whole document is printed. By default, this option is selected when the document contains only one page. When the document expands to two or more pages, the Pages option is selected.
  • Selection: When you select this option, the current selection (page) is printed. This option remains unavailable until you select the page tab. To make sure that the page tab is selected, click the page tab, point to Select on the Edit menu, and then click Page.
  • Current Page: This option is not available in OneNote. (In most Office programs, this option prints the page that the insertion point is on. If you select more than one page, the program prints the page at the start of the selection.)
  • Pages: When you select this option, the page that contains the insertion point or the page that contains selected text is printed. You can also type the page numbers that you want to print in the Pages box (for example, type 1-3).
