Xbox: You receive the error message "Your Xbox requires service" in multiple languages while using your Xbox console (816784)

SYMPTOMS

While using your Xbox console you may receive the following Universal Error Message (UEM):
Your Xbox requires service. Please call Xbox Customer Support.

CAUSE

You receive UEMs when a hardware or a firmware error occurs.

THINGS TO TRY

Restart the Xbox console. If the error persists, the console may require service by Microsoft. See the More Information section for Xbox Customer Service contact information.
