SYMPTOMSWhen you install CorelDRAW 9 on your Windows Server 2003-based computer, and then you try to visit the Corel community Web site (for example, when you double-click the COREL.COM icon on the desktop), you receive the following message in Internet Explorer: ... please wait while you are redirected ...(if the redirect does not work, please ensure that javascript is enabled in your browser's configuration) However, the redirection operation is not successful. This issue also occurs when you try to view a Help topic that directs you to the Corel Web site. CAUSEWhen you view the Help topic or double-click the COREL.COM icon, a script is executed to redirect you to a Corel Web site. However, because of increased security introduced with Windows Server 2003, this redirection operation is not successful. WORKAROUNDTo work around this issue, add the "www.corel.com" and "www3.corel.com" Web sites to the list of trusted Web sites in Internet Explorer. To do this, follow these steps: - Start Internet Explorer.
- If you receive a message stating that Microsoft Internet Explorer's Enhanced Security Configuration is currently enabled, click OK.
- On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
- Click the Security tab, click Trusted sites, and then click Sites.
- In the Add this Web site to the zone box, type www.corel.com, and then click Add.
- In the Add this Web site to the zone box, type www3.corel.com, and then click Add.
- Click Close, and then click OK.
