FIX: Document Fails Validation in BizTalk Adapter for SQL Server When You Use a Parameter That Contains an XML Escaped Character (816443)

SYMPTOMS

When you process messages that execute stored procedures with the BizTalk Adapter for Microsoft SQL Server, you may receive the following error message in the event viewer:Event Type: Warning

[0x80004005] Failed to parse the XML Document, please refer to the trace log for more information [0x0159] The server encountered a transport error while processing the messaging port "port_TestSQLAIC", which uses a transport component with a ProgID of "AICSQL.SQLPipeline.1". [0x012b] A transmission attempt failed.

CAUSE

One of the parameters that you are passing to your stored procedure contains an XML escaped character, such as ".

RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem.

The French version of this fix has the file attributes (or later) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in coordinated universal time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
