Mouse Does Not Function After You Start Windows XP (815918)

SYMPTOMS

When you start your computer, the mouse may not be available.

CAUSE

This may occur when you have upgraded a Hewlett Packard (HP) Pavilion series computer to the Microsoft Windows XP operation system. Not all HP Pavilion series computers are compatible with the Windows XP operating system, and installing Windows XP can cause odd behaviors and errors to occur.

RESOLUTION
