An IGMP Join Request May Be Transmitted After a Leave Request for the Same Group (815290)

SYMPTOMS

After an Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) Leave request is sent following an IGMP Join request for the same multicast group, an unexpected IGMP Join request may be transmitted. This may cause the host to remain in the multicast group, which may cause extra network traffic or unexpected network data loss.

RESOLUTION
