PRB: "Unable to Export COM+ Applications" Error Message When You Export or Replicate a COM+ Application (815059)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to export or replicate a COM+ application with more than 1302 components, you may receive the following error message:
Unable to export COM+ application. Error occurred while attempting to export COM + Application <APPNAME>( ID: {<APPGUID>} ). This occurred during session <SESSIONNAME> and job <JOBNAME>. Status is 0x80110407 Error occurred writing to the application file.
The following event will be logged in the Application Center event log:Event Id: 5142
Type: Error
Name: MicrosoftAC_Replication_Session_ DriverEvents_ ComExportApplicationFailed_Event
Description: Error %Status% occurred while attempting to export COM+ Application %Path% ( ID: %Key% ). This occurred during session %ReplicationID% and job %ReplicationJobID%.

CAUSE

COM+ cannot export COM+ application with more than 1302 components.

WORKAROUND

To work around the problem, limit the number of components in a COM+ application that is being exported or replicated with Application Center 2000 to 1302.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
