Application Center 2000 SP2 also addresses three issues that are not covered by Microsoft Knowledge Base articles:
  • Application Center 2000 does not fully support port rules that are specific to IP addresses.
  • Application Center 2000 does not support multiple instances of Network Load Balancing.
  • Application Center does not co-exist with instances of Network Load Balancing that are not managed by Application Center.

Note If you install Application Center 2000 SP2 with performance and event logging enabled (the default installation), Application Center 2000 SP2 also installs SQL Server Desktop Engine (also known as MSDE 2000) with SQL Server Desktop Engine SP3 for the MSSQL$MSAC instance.
