Note This rollup also includes the following bug fixes:
  • When MSDTC is under stress, it may incur an undetected stack overflow exception. This exception causes a leak of a critical section, and this results in a deadlock.
  • A problem with the UTSemReadWrite synchronization class used in MSDTC causes a deadlock.

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing.
